One of the most striking features of this edition is its satellite hour system. Drawing inspiration from a 17th-century clock, URWERK replaces traditional hands with a satellite that moves along a graduated arc to indicate minutes. Once the hour is complete, a new satellite, bearing the next hour, takes its place. This approach not only provides a precise readout of time but also offers a poetic visual experience.

In addition to the satellite hours, the dial includes two unique counters. The first tracks the 555 kilometres the Earth rotates on its axis every 20 minutes, while the second measures the 35,740 kilometres the planet travels in its orbit during the same interval. Powering the UR-100V ‘Hunter Green’ is the self-winding UR 12.02 movement. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and offers a 48-hour power reserve. The movement features 40 jewels and is complemented by satellite hours made of beryllium-bronze Geneva crosses, an aluminium carousel, and triple baseplates crafted from ARCAP alloy. Detailed finishing, including circular graining, sand-blasting, and shot-blasting, is applied to components such as the chamfered screw heads and Super-LumiNova®-painted hour and minute markers.

Adding further intrigue to the dial, the watch incorporates two distinct counters:

• Rotational Distance: Displays the 555 kilometres the Earth covers in 20 minutes as it rotates on its axis.
• Orbital Distance: Indicates the 35,740 kilometres the Earth travels in 20 minutes as it orbits the Sun.
