The SBGA503, a Spring Drive model, launches as a limited edition of 500 pieces, drawing inspiration from an unusual yet captivating source—the glistening, streetlit snow of Tokyo's Ginza district, where Seiko's story began. This special edition is exclusive to six Ginza-area stores, making it a coveted piece for collectors.

Despite some raised eyebrows over its inspiration from the yellow-tinged snow of urban Ginza, the SBGA503 offers a fresh take on Grand Seiko's renowned Shunbun texture, now presented in a golden hue. This choice of colour may be unconventional, but it adds a unique character to the watch, embracing the beauty found in everyday moments of the city.

The SBGA503 retains familiar features beloved by Grand Seiko enthusiasts but introduces some notable enhancements.

The watch features a 41mm Zaratsu-polished stainless steel case with a height of 12.5mm and a lug-to-lug width of 49mm. The dial showcases newly designed minute markers that are bold and elongated, lending a sportier look to the classic aesthetic.

It is powered by the Grand Seiko Caliber 9R65 Spring Drive, known for its precision and the smooth motion of the hands, boasting a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.

The model is water-resistant up to 100 meters and includes a robust stainless steel bracelet fitted with a three-fold clasp and push-button release for secure and comfortable wear.

A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the underside protects the dial, while the caseback also features sapphire crystal, offering a glimpse into the intricate workings of the movement.
